Terms of Service

Last updated: October 28, 2026

1. What this site is. laytonburstpipecleanup.com and its phone number (801) 788-4740 make up a call referral service. When you call, the call is forwarded to a water damage contractor who serves Layton, Utah. The site and its operator don't carry out water extraction, drying, mold work, plumbing, construction or any other service. By using the site or calling the number, you accept these terms.

2. No charge for the referral. Using the site and being connected by phone doesn't cost you anything beyond your own phone carrier's charges. Any price or invoice for actual work comes from the contractor, not from this site.

3. Contractors are independent. Every contractor you reach through this site is a separate business operating on its own account. They aren't employees, partners, agents or representatives of the site or its operator, and the site has no control over how they run their work, schedule or pricing.

4. No warranty on any work. The site operator gives no warranty or assurance of any kind about the quality, safety, timeliness, legality or outcome of work done by a contractor you're connected with. Any agreement for work is made only between you and that contractor, and any dispute about the work is between you and them.

5. Check credentials before you hire. You're responsible for deciding whether to hire a contractor. Before any work starts, ask for the contractor's Utah license number and certificate of insurance, and confirm the license with the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL). The site doesn't confirm licensing or insurance for you.

6. People in images. People who appear in photographs or video on this site are models or actors. They aren't contractors available through this phone line, and their appearance doesn't show any particular contractor's staff, vehicles or equipment.

7. Call handling. Calls may be recorded for quality purposes, and a recording notice may play when you call. Calls are answered during the hours listed on the site. Calls outside those hours, or during busy periods, may not be answered, and connection isn't assured at any particular time.

8. Not for life-safety emergencies. If there's a risk of electrical shock, a gas smell, structural collapse or injury, leave the area and call 911 or the relevant utility before anything else.

9. Information on the site. Articles and pages give general information about water damage and burst pipes in plain terms. They don't replace an on-site assessment by a qualified contractor, or advice from your insurer about your own policy.

10. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent Utah law allows, the site operator isn't liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost arising from your use of the site, a call placed through it, or work done or not done by any contractor. If liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid the site operator, which for this free referral service is zero.

11. Acceptable use. Don't misuse the phone number with repeated, fraudulent or harassing calls, and don't copy the site's content for commercial use without permission.

12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

13. Changes. These terms may change, and the date above shows the current version.
